Pay Rate: $25 Hourly
Work Environment: This is a full-time, on-site position. The role requires regular presence in the office to support internal departments and employees effectively.Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Position Summary:
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Human Resources (HR) department. This includes managing recruitment and onboarding, administering compensation, benefits, and leave programs, and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of handling sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
May oversee scheduling, task assignments, and daily workflows of subordinate HR staff.
Assists in conducting timely and constructive performance evaluations.
Tracks, documents, and ensures compliance with required and optional training programs, continuing education, and employee assessments (e.g., safety, anti-harassment, certifications, licensure).
Manages full-cycle recruitment including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates in partnership with department managers to identify skill and competency needs.
Coordinates and conducts background checks and employment eligibility verifications.
Implements and facilitates new hire orientation and employee recognition initiatives.
Administers and supports HR programs such as compensation, benefits, leave, performance management, employee relations, safety, training, and development.
Responds to employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and managers, escalating complex or sensitive issues when necessary.
Participates in employee relations matters including disciplinary meetings, terminations, and internal investigations.
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and reviews internal policies and practices to maintain alignment.
Stays current with HR trends, best practices, legal updates, and emerging technologies in talent management.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
A minimum of one year of experience in human resources preferred.
SHRM-CP certification is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
Must be able to navigate throughout the organization’s facilities.
